Empowering Local Business.
Strengthening Our Community.
Why Local Matters
Committed to Supporting Local Enterprises and Communities
Small businesses are the heartbeat of every neighborhood. When they thrive, local dollars stay in the community, jobs are created, and main streets stay alive. But many owners struggle to find customers consistently, and the help available is often expensive, confusing, or unreliable. GB Local Growth Alliance provides local visibility training, marketing education, and mentorship so owners can build a steady customer base and stay in business for the long run.
Our Mission
Equalizing Opportunities for Neighborhood Shops
We help local small businesses by providing local visibility training, marketing education, and mentorship so they gain consistent customers and long-term stability, so that thriving local enterprises strengthen communities, create jobs, and build resilient local economies.
Our Value
Rooted in Integrity & Community Trust
Transparency First
We're open about how our programs work, who they serve, and how we're run.
Education That Lasts
We teach skills owners keep, not tools they have to rent from us.
Community Impact
Every program is measured by what it gives back: stable businesses, local jobs, and stronger neighborhoods.
Our Journey
Dedicated to Local Economic Resilience
GB Local Growth Alliance was founded in 2026 as an Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporation by our founder, Brian Nurse. We saw good neighborhood businesses struggling to find customers while being targeted by costly, predatory marketing offers. So we created a not-for-profit alternative built on honest methods, practical education, and real mentorship. Today we work with 15+ businesses, and we’re growing our network of partners.
